Is film-making a natural talent?

There are three types of Film-makers.

  1. Prodigy
  2. Intelligent
  3. Curiosity

Prodigies are naturally talented. They have exceptional observing and understanding skills. Screen Writers in this category obtain information from various channels. They need less guidance and support from others. They do not need a teacher or guru. Teachers can learn from them. They are the ones who can absorb in the right way and bring out amazingly just by seeing and hearing. They will advance with a great name, fame, and positions in a short span of period.

The second type of film-makers is called 'Intelligent'. They have fifty percent of the qualities of prodigies. They need action boosters from others. A teacher, guru, or friend can act as a trigger for them. Sometimes, they tend to get tired soon. If a driving force comes into their minds, no one can create like them. If Prodigy is a visually oriented person, Intelligent People are predominantly Auditory. The combination of Prodigy and Intelligent makes a successful one.

The third one is Curiosity. These people cannot follow a teacher or guru. They are unable to learn by themselves nor accept guidance from others. They will create an ideology for themselves and complains about the first two types of the creator. They argue that their creations are not worthy at all. They are highly emotional people. They can waste their time and other people's time by arguing.

In the School, students of 1-10 ranks mayn't need special classes and tuition. They are Prodigies who can naturally observe and reflect on things. Students of 10-15 ranking need a small push, motivation, and support from the teacher to achieve better. Students beyond the 15 ranks are the ones who need special classes and tuition. Just because Prodigies can achieve better on their own, they should not comment on or mock the low-rank holders.

Similarly in the film industry as well, a few creators can naturally deliver the goods. Some need a push and motivation. But many need strategies, research materials, and analysis as supportive material to understand the domain. I have seen people saying that creativity can never be taught by others. But it is not for all creators. I see people mocking film coaching and institutions. They claim that film-making can't be taught instead it has to be a born talent. It is not true for everyone.
