What's Wrong with the famous "Dodge This" scene from The Matrix.

The Matrix is one of the iconic, disruptive movies of the '90s. It had breathtaking visual effects and a storytelling narrative structure. I pondered it many times as a kid and watched it repeatedly until I learned Visual Grammar. I wonder if this scene had a storyboard at the time of pre-production. Let us look at some basic points the team failed to cover up.

Lighting Mismatch - Image 1 has visuals of both Neo and the Centinal having a light source on their left side. People who are on the opposite side will not have a light source on the same side (Left Side).

Character Placement Mismatch - Image 2 has visuals of Trinity on Neo's left side. After the arrival of the Centinal, Neo turns back to see him straight. So that, Trinity will be on his right side. But Neo asks for help by turning to his left.

Missing of the Character - Image 3 visuals - Till now Trinity is on Neo's right side but suddenly in this 360 shot, she is missing from the scene.

Mismatch of Lighting - Image 4 Visuals - Earlier, the light source was on Neo's left side but in this shot, the light source is on the top. Clearly, the Centinal walks on the right side of Neo to create a shadow on his face.

Multiple Mistakes - Image 5 Visuals - After shot 4, suddenly Trinity appears from the backside of the Centinal to point the gun at his cheek. In the next shot, Centinal is on the left side of Neo and he faces toward the left, Rather than the cheek, Trinity shoots Centinal on his forehead. Where again the source of light is on the left side of the characters. The helicopter is seen very close to Neo's left now but in the first shot, it looked like Centinal was walking from far away after getting down from the helicopter. There are no dead bodies nearby Neo which he shoots in shot 1.

If they would have dodged the mistakes in the visual filmmaking, then it would have been a real iconic scene of the movie.
